Hardware Channel

Syntax

Single channel: name_of_channel@device_alias
Combined channels: [hardware_channel1 hardware_channel2 hardware_channel3 ...]

Single (1-bit) output of a real device that can be in one of two (ON or OFF) states at a time.

Characteristics of OFF and ON states are device-dependent.

Pulse capacity of hardware channel is the amount of pulses it can generate. Pulse capacity of the virtual channel can be increased by multiplexing hardware channel into one combined output.
